Open Studios Sunshine Coast is one of two major annual programs presented by Arts Connect Inc.

Arts Connect Inc. is a membership driven not-for-profit organisation based on the Sunshine Coast, which encourages excellence within local arts practices through shared activities, workshops, collaboration and mentoring.

The other major annual event is Sculpture on the Edge.

During Open Studios some of the regions’ best artists open their studio doors to the public, providing the opportunity to get up close and personal with local artists and their creative practices. Each artist invites you to their space to provide insights into how they work, tell their stories and see them at work.

Art enthusiasts and collectors can enjoy a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes, meet and directly support local makers from Caloundra to Coolum along the coastline and into the hinterland.

You can take a self-guided tour to visit local artists, buy art, join in workshops led by local artists and gain new appreciation for the region’s rich and diverse art scene.

Arts represented include ceramics, drawing, glass, mixed media, painting, photography, print, sculpture, textiles, metalwork, woodwork, jewellery, installation, printmaking and more.
